Summer Activities Scheduled!

There’s no chance to get bored this summer in the Tehama County Mentoring Program. Back by popular demand are two of our most loved summertime activities: scrapbooking and a trip to a Chico Outlaws baseball game.

Scrapbooking, sponsored by the Tehama County Police Activities League in cooperation with the Mentoring Program, starts Wednesday June 16 at the Corning Family Resource Center (old kindergarten building at West Street School) and continues each Wednesday from 9am-12pm through August 18.

In Red Bluff, scrapbooking classes run every Thursday starting July 1 through August 5 from 9am-12:00pm at the Tehama County Department of Education, 1135 Lincoln Street.

Participants need only bring photos and other mementos to add to their books. All other supplies provided.

June 28 marks the Tehama County Mentoring Program’s 5th annual summer trip to Chico to see a Chico Outlaws baseball game. This year the Outlaws have a female knuckleballer from Japan, Eri Yoshida. The team will play the Orange County Flyers. We’ll be attending on team photo night, so make sure to bring your cameras. Outlaw players will be available for photos with the kids after the game—perfect for scrapbooking!
